Large Hand-Marbled Clamshell Box — Blue

The things that clutter a desk pile up faster than anywhere else — pens, glasses, letters, the bits you mean to deal with later. This large handmade clamshell box gives them room to live, so your desk stays clear and everything's in one place.

A clamshell box opens as one piece and closes flat, keeping what's inside protected from dust on every side — the same structure used to store archive material and rare documents. Generous and low, easy to reach into, easy to close away.

Made using genuine hand-marbled paper — each sheet floated and drawn by hand, not printed — so the swirl of deep blue and gold across the lid is unlike any other. One of a kind: this paper won't be repeated, so once it's gone, it's gone.

Lined throughout in hard-wearing bookcloth, the same cloth used in traditional bookbinding — a sturdy, lasting finish that stands up to everyday use.

Room enough for stationery, letters, jewellery, glasses, keepsakes, or the odds and ends a desk collects.
