A clamshell box made to fit your own book, in colours chosen with you and lettered with your title.
Books that matter tend to be handled, stacked and moved around. A clamshell box holds yours flat and closed, so the cover and spine are protected while it sits on the shelf. I worked in museum collections care before making, so protecting objects for the long term is something I think about with every box.

- Lined inside with the same decorative paper
- Gold lettering on the spine (your title or wording)
- A label inside the box with your own wording, such as a dedication

Choose the size band that fits the height of your book:
- Small: books up to 21 cm tall
- Medium: books up to 26 cm tall
- Large: books up to 30 cm tall
Taller than 30 cm, or unusually thick? Please message me before ordering.
✦ HOW TO ORDER
The photos show one example. The spine cloth and decorative paper are chosen to suit you.
1. Choose the size band that fits your book's height.
2. In the personalisation box, send your book's measurements, your preferred colours, the wording for the spine, and the wording for the inside label.
3. I'll message you a few options for the spine cloth and paper.
4. Once you have chosen, I'll start making.
The spine lettering depends on the width of the spine, so I'll let you know if your wording needs shortening.
✦ MEASURING YOUR BOOK
Please measure your book exactly as it is, in mm. I add a small allowance so the box opens and closes easily, so there's no need to add any yourself.
- Height: top to bottom of the cover
- Width: spine to fore-edge (the opposite edge to the spine)
- Thickness: the thickest point of the book, cover included
If the book is uneven or warped, measure at the widest points.

Care
This piece is made from paper and bookbinding materials. To keep it looking its best:
- Dust with a dry cloth only — avoid water and damp conditions
- If any warping occurs, place under a heavy book on a flat surface for 24 hours
Shipping & Returns
All orders are handmade and dispatched within 5–8 working days. UK orders are sent via Royal Mail; international orders via Royal Mail International Tracked.
Returns are accepted within 14 days of delivery for items in their original, undamaged condition. Please get in touch before sending anything back.
